The comparison, in full

TenthAvenue vs HubSpot,
module by module.

HubSpot is a broad, well-known platform sold as separate hubs and tiers. TenthAvenue is built for firms that raise capital and operate real estate, with every core module on one plan. Here is the whole list, sourced from HubSpot's own pages.

A 5-person team, at list prices

  • HubSpot Sales Hub Professional: 5 seats × $90 = $450/mo, its listed "starts at" price per seat1
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub Professional, with 3 core seats and 2,000 marketing contacts: $800/mo, its listed "starts at" price2
  • HubSpot onboarding, required on both hubs ($1,500 and $3,000), spread across the first year: $375/mo, about $4,500 once1,2
  • The SMS add-on: a paid add-on whose price is not published on the pages we read3
TenthAvenue Mid Cap: $179/mo, every core module included.
  • 10 seats
  • 25,000 emails / mo
  • $15 of TAC every month, enough for about 500 texts, or 300 call minutes, or 15 hours of meeting notes, or 171 AI email drafts. Mix them as you like.
  • 2 texting + calling numbers

Underwriting and capital raising are not among the features HubSpot lists on its plans, so a firm that needs them adds tools outside the bill above.

Growing the teamMarketing Hub Professional includes 3 core seats and 2,000 marketing contacts; additional core seats start at $45 a month.2Step up a plan when you need more road. That is the whole model.
Texting and calling
Two-way SMSSMS is a paid add-on for Marketing Hub on certain plans. Senders need US-based numbers, contacts must opt in, and two-way conversations are supported.3Ping is built in: text and call from your own carrier-registered business numbers, in the browser and on your phone. Calls can show your business name, recordings play a consent announcement, and AI transcripts and summaries are part of the per-minute price.
CallingSales Hub includes calling minutes by tier: 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 12,000 on Enterprise, with 1, 3 or 5 HubSpot-provided numbers (not supported in all countries).1A browser softphone on the same number: click-to-call from any record, inbound calls ring with the caller's CRM name on screen, voicemail with your greeting, and missed calls can text themselves back.
Call intelligenceConversation intelligence starts on Sales Hub Professional, with 750 hours of call transcription a month per account (1,500 on Enterprise).1Included in the per-minute price: recording with consent announcements, transcripts with speaker labels, and an AI summary with action items on the contact's timeline.

Email
Marketing emailSends are tied to your marketing contact tier: 2,000 a month on Free, then 5 times, 10 times or 20 times the tier on Starter, Professional and Enterprise.2Megaphone is built in: describe the email and AI writes it in your brand, then send from your own verified domain with a consent record, a preference center and one-click unsubscribe.
Transactional emailA Marketing Hub add-on, with SMTP and single-send APIs and a dedicated IP address.4Included, and isolated by design: login codes and receipts ride a dedicated transactional provider, so a marketing incident can never take down the mail that keeps people signed in.

Underwriting and capital raising
Deal underwritingNot among the features HubSpot lists on its Sales Hub and Marketing Hub plan pages.1,2Caliper: drop in the rent roll, T12 and offering memo and the model fills itself, every figure cited to the page it came from, with live dials, real LP and GP waterfalls, sensitivity, branded PDF memos and Excel exports.
Running a raiseNot among the features HubSpot lists on its Sales Hub and Marketing Hub plan pages.1,2TenthYards: branded offering pages, an investor funnel from interested to funded, real KYC and accreditation, prefilled subscription documents signed through Ink, distributions with tier-by-tier proof, and an investor portal behind two-factor sign-in. TenthYards is its own subscription on top of any plan.
Automations and AI
WorkflowsSales Hub workflows: up to 50 on Starter, 300 on Professional, 1,000 on Enterprise. Marketing Hub omni-channel workflows: up to 300 on Professional, 1,000 on Enterprise.1,2On every plan: 37 triggers across every module, 19 actions, wait steps that make drips, conditions that read like sentences, and a recipe gallery to start from.
AI pricingAI features and agents draw on HubSpot Credits: 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise, with more bought as packs or pay-as-you-go.1,2One balance in dollars, TAC, that meters actual model usage alongside texts, calls and meeting notes. Every paid plan adds some each month, and you can add more anytime.
AI featuresHubSpot lists AI agents by plan, including a Prospecting Agent, a Customer Agent and a Data Agent.1AI where it earns its keep, on every plan: compose, brand capture, meeting briefs, call summaries, dashboard widgets, legal ingestion, K-1 matching. $5 of TAC comes with every trial so you feel it on day one.
Read it this way: where the HubSpot column names an add-on, an integration or a marketplace app, or does not list the feature, that part of the work happens outside the plan. Here it is built in, on one record and one plan.

Where HubSpot shines.

HubSpot is one of the most widely adopted platforms in the category: its Free tools cover up to 2 users, and its marketplace lists over 2,000 apps and web services.1

For teams that want separate best-known hubs for marketing, sales and service, with a large partner and app ecosystem around them, that breadth is a real advantage.1

Why firms switch.

One plan, not a stack of hubs

Texting, calling, scheduling, e-signature, payments, projects, underwriting and the raise are modules of the same workspace, on the same contact and deal record, at one price per plan.

No required onboarding bill

Setup is yours to do in an afternoon: the product reads your website, guides your DNS, and ships recipe automations ready to enable. No onboarding fee exists.

Built for raising capital

Caliper underwrites the deal from the documents, and TenthYards takes the frozen model into a raise with investor onboarding, subscription documents and distributions.

Switching is an afternoon, not a project.

The one-click HubSpot migration copies everything over for you. Duplicates are matched by email and phone, any bulk cleanup can be undone for 24 hours, and you can keep your old tools running until their renewal dates roll around.

Questions, answered straight.

Can I bring my HubSpot data over?

Yes. The HubSpot migration maps your properties in the background, and CSV and Excel import handle anything else, with owner assignment, duplicate handling by email and phone, and a 24-hour undo on a bulk cleanup.

HubSpot has a Free plan. Why look at TenthAvenue?

If free CRM tools for two users are all you need, HubSpot's Free plan is a fair place to start, and TenthAvenue has a Free plan too. TenthAvenue is for firms that also need texting and calling, scheduling, e-signature, payments, underwriting and investor onboarding on the same record.

Is every feature really on every plan?

Yes, with one exception. Free includes the same core modules as Large Cap, and plans differ only in capacity: seats, email volume, phone numbers, and monthly TAC (the credits that pay for texts, calls, meeting notes and AI). You will never hit a paywall in front of a core feature. The exception is TenthYards, the capital-raising module: it runs on regulated banking, KYC, and accreditation rails that carry real per-investor costs, so it's a separate subscription with pricing announced soon.

Does TenthAvenue connect my Gmail?

Outlook mailboxes connect today. Gmail mailbox sync is built and waiting on Google's app review, so it is coming soon. Signing in with Google already works.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Native apps for iPhone and iPad are on the App Store, and the Android™ app is on Google Play, with texting and calling on your business line.

How does the trial work?

Fifteen days of the full platform, no card required, with the seats of the plan you pick so your whole team can try it together. If you do not subscribe, the workspace moves to the Free plan and nothing is deleted.
