Zoom integration guide

Last updated: June 13, 2026

TenthAvenue's scheduling module, Meridian, connects to your Zoom account so that a Zoom meeting is created automatically for every booking you take. Once connected, the join link is placed in the booking confirmation email and the calendar invite for both you and the person who booked. This guide explains how to add, use, and remove the integration.

What this app does

  • Creates a Zoom meeting automatically when someone books a meeting through your Meridian booking page.
  • Adds the Zoom join link to the confirmation email and the calendar invite.
  • Keeps the Zoom meeting in sync: rescheduling a booking updates the meeting time, and cancelling a booking deletes the meeting.
  • Reads your basic Zoom profile (name and email) only to label the connected account in the app.

The app uses the Zoom meeting:write scope to create and update meetings, and a read-only profile scope to identify the connected account. It does not read, record, or store the contents of your meetings.

Prerequisites

  • A Zoom account (Basic or licensed) that can create meetings.
  • A TenthAvenue workspace with the Meridian scheduling module enabled.
  • At least one Meridian event type, so bookings can be taken (see step-by-step below).

Adding the app

You can add the app from inside TenthAvenue:

  1. Sign in to TenthAvenue and open Meridian → Calendars.
  2. Click Connect Zoom. You are redirected to Zoom's secure sign-in.
  3. Sign in to Zoom and review the requested permissions: create and update meetings on your behalf, and read your basic profile. Click Allow.
  4. You are returned to the Calendars page, where Zoom now shows as Connected.
  5. Open or create a Meridian event type and set its location to Zoom. New bookings on that event type will now get a Zoom meeting automatically.

You can also add it from the Zoom App Marketplace listing by clicking Add, which starts the same authorization flow.

Troubleshooting

  • You did not return to a "Connected" state. Make sure pop-ups and redirects to zoom.us are allowed, then try Connect Zoom again.
  • You approved the wrong Zoom account. Disconnect Zoom in Meridian → Calendars, then reconnect and sign in with the correct account.
  • Meetings stopped being created. The Zoom connection may have expired or been revoked. Reconnect from Meridian → Calendars. If your event type's location is not set to Zoom, set it.
  • Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your workspace name and we will help.

Using the app

Automatic Zoom meetings for bookings

Use case: you want every meeting booked through your scheduling page to happen on Zoom without creating links by hand. Prerequisite: Zoom connected, and an event type with its location set to Zoom. When someone books that event type, Meridian creates a unique Zoom meeting and includes the join link in their confirmation email and calendar invite.

Reschedules and cancellations stay in sync

Use case: a booker moves or cancels their meeting and you want Zoom to match. Prerequisite: the booking was created with a Zoom location. If the booking is rescheduled, the Zoom meeting time is updated; if it is cancelled, the Zoom meeting is deleted. No action is needed from you.

Removing the app

You can remove the integration from either side:

  1. In TenthAvenue: open Meridian → Calendars and click Disconnect on the Zoom connection.
  2. In Zoom: go to marketplace.zoom.us, open Manage → Added Apps, find this app, and click Remove.

What happens when you remove (de-authorization)

  • New bookings will no longer get a Zoom meeting created automatically. Your booking pages keep working without Zoom.
  • Zoom meetings that were already created remain in your Zoom account; they are not deleted when you remove the app. You can delete any of them in Zoom if you wish.

How we remove your data

When you remove the app in Zoom, Zoom sends us an authorized de-authorization notification. On receiving it we delete the stored Zoom access and refresh tokens and the connection record for that account, and we confirm the data removal back to Zoom. We do not retain your Zoom credentials after de-authorization. To request deletion of any remaining integration-related data, email [email protected] and we will action it.
